"My husband talked me into purchasing the FoodSaver in anticipation of a good tuna catch from his upcoming Oregon Inlet trip. Turned out it was a good thing we had it as they limited out on Yellow Fin and my son-in-law reeled in a large Blue Fin. We packaged over 300 pounds of fish for the freezer and the FoodSaver held up throughout the process. It took a little practice to know how big to cut the bags and where to position them to get the air out, but after that haven't had any problems. We had a real producution line going and you have to let the sealing strip cool down after about 10 bags. I'm also using it for tomato sauce, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, and other summer vegetables to freeze for the winter. Just wish the bags weren't so expensive, and there was an easier way to package liquids directly into the bags instead of freezing them first and then packaging. Maybe a future generation FoodSaver will accomplish that."

"I buy bags or rolls every year before I go to Mexico to fish. I get back with a load of fillets and not much time to pack them for freezer. But when they go into the freezer they can last years if you caught,filleted and froze in a speedy time while fishing."

"I received a Game Saver Delux at X'mas. I have found it so easy to use It's a beautiful looking gadget sitting on my countertop as well.. I have been experimenting with diffterent foods to put up. This is my first one and I have found the quality of it excellent. Never thought of owning one so never looked in the local stores to see what they had to offer. An excellent product and I am sure it will stand up to all my expectations."

"Try to seal the bags as dry as you can, for if they get wet or are humid, they tend to seal defectively, besides that, it is a great bag material, highly recommended. Be careful with your Foodsaver sealer tape, it may burn the bag, or not seal correctly, read experience below.
I have had my Game Saver for almost 10 years, and the only problem I have encountered is that the tape that covers the sealing metallic strip tends to burn out. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said they didn't repair that piece, and that they couldn't tell me what type of tape it was, that I needed to buy a new Game Saver. I looked two days on the internet and found out that the tape can be replaced by 3/8 x 5 MIL. x 18 YD Acrylic Teflon Tape, so If you have the same problem, and can't get any assistance, here is the answer to replacing the sealing tape. I hope this is helpful."
