Advantages: Ease of use, Style/Design, Value for money

"This is a very simple product. Only 4 screws to hold each of them to your boat. (The package comes with two holders.) I installed it in minutes on the side of my boat on the thin panel. Be careful not to drill through the hull of your boat.

It mounted in a few minutes and then I stuck a rod in it. It holds quite well, and releases easily. No velcro, no straps, nothing, This is going to make it much easier for me to store them plus I won't be tripping over my rods anymore."

Nice rack!, May 12, 2008

"I bought this for my new 14 ft. v-hull fishing boat. My old boat had the black plastic type of rack installed and this product is a much better than that one. I have 4 rods I keep in my boat and this rack holds them all. I put three rods in the rack pointing the same way and am able to store the 4th one by pointing it the other direction in the same slot as another rod. I see no reason why it couldn't hold 6 rods. I kept the rods in the rack while trailering the boat for over 300 miles with no problems. Now I am trying to figure out how to add another rack to the other side of the boat to hold more rods. This really keeps the rods out of the way."

"I owned a 16 ft. aluminum boat with floor & wall between the ribs for about 10 or so years. I've done every kind of fishing I can do in Tennessee out of the boat, which means I've got a wide variety and sizes of rods and reels. This is the only product that I found that would keep my gear in place and secure without wadding them all together with velcro or rubber straps. In the boat I mounted them to carry my gear horizontally and I also use them in my garage for vertical storage on my walls. Now I'm back at bass pro to order more for my garage."
