Disadvantages: Durability
"On one of mine, first time out, the anchor came off the string and it is still at the bottom of the lake. I guess I should have checked the knot. On the other, it is taking on water and I used it less than 4 days. I'm going to drill holes in them and fill them with insulating foam so they wont sink. Look elsewhere for quality marker buoys."

"these buoys are a must have for serious bass fishermen. great for marking humps, brushpiles and creek channels, or any other underwater structure. they always stay put and are easy to see. get the advantage on your fishing hot spot and improve your catch."

"Purchased a two pack of the green glow buoys. After flipping them in the water to mark a break I turned to find one had sunk and the other was filling with water rapidly. Unusually poor quality for Bass Pro Products."
