A real classic,

"We have been using these knives for years. My father has one he might have bought in the 70's. Ours have prepared many a dinner both in Canada and here in Florida. They resharpen easily with just a few strokes on an aluminum oxcide rod. Keep more than one around for the fishing gear and in the kitchen."

"this is a very good knife. It would be an excellent gift for somebody just getting started, it holds and edge well, and is the right balance of flex and stiff for a good fillet job. But I would not reccomend this for someone who does a lot of fillet work."

"This was the first knife given to me by my dad. I now own 5 of these knives for not only filleting but for cutting the 50lb of anchovies we use at the local striper derby.THEY ARE THE BEST!!! "I owned a 6" one years ago and left it at the trout park. I was heartbroke! Then I found a 4' model in a drawer full of forks, spoons, ect. That someone had thrown out. They evidently had no appreciation for great cutlery? I used that 4" little knife on everything! It was my favorite "Go To" knife on everything from cleaning fish, to skinning critters, to working up a deer. I used it until I absolutely wore it out. I just ordered myself a brand new one. I can't wait for it to get here!"
