Sexy's Real Review,April 8, 2009
By SexyJeepyfrom Elkhart, IN
"I purchased the 22” version of this scale many years ago and it has held up great. I don’t understand the technology behind it, but when you lay your fish down the scale actually grips it like a rubber glove, which keeps your fish from sliding on the scale. I love this scale for that fact alone!
The only problem I have with this scale is reading the numbers on it. If you’re fishing on a sunny day it can sometimes take a minute or two for you to look at it at just the right angle so that the glare isn’t making the markings completely unreadable. It is this very reason that has caused me to upgrade to the Tournament series scale (which is blue and white) so that I can read the markings on the scale more easily. Granted, I’m usually in a hurry with anything I do so if you’re willing to have some patience, you’re not in a big hurry, or convenience when scaling is not of great importance to you, then these “Gold” series scales are the best buy around.
Overall this scale is very durable and strong, and should last a lifetime for those who purchase it if washed after each use and properly stored.
Enjoy!"

"I purchased the 22" model. I keep it in my boat and have used it many times. If you are like me and like to keep some fish to eat, you want to make sure the fish is legal. This takes the worry away."
