"Here in Canada, it is the best lure for smallies in the fall. Period.
I fish with the 3'' Green Pumpkin Gold, and I can't stop catching fish all day long. There is no word to describe how good this lure is.
I agree with the other reviewers, it is hard to find anywhere than here!"

"I've only been using Berkley's 3" Power Tubes for a few months, but they've worked in all kinds of situations. The first time I used them was on Dead Lake in Minnesota- the LM Bass weren't biting tandem or in-line spinnerbaits, or crankbaits worked from the surface down to about 8-10 feet. When my fishing partner asked where the fish were, I said "maybe they're deep" since the sun was shining bright with very little cloud cover.
I told him that since we hadn't gotten anything on horizontal presentations all morning, that I was going to try a more vertical presentation. So, I put on a Berkley Power Tube in Green Pumpkin with Gold flakes since the water was relatively clear, rigged with a 1/0 extra wide gap worm hook and 1/16 oz rattling ez tube weight. Pitched it out to deeper water, let it sink to the bottom, and glided it back to the boat in 2-4' increments. Within minutes I hooked up with the first LM of the morning. Then another within a few more casts, then another after drifting through the area one more time. All fish were decent- in the 15-16" range.
After gaining a little confidence using the Power Tube for the first time, I tried using it again after I got back home to Wisconsin. Fishing from shore on Lake Winnebago, I was fishing a vertical wall that leads into the channels, working a Blue Fleck Power Tube rigged the same way as the first time. Working it with a gliding motion again, letting it sit a little while each time while I slowly reeled in the slack, I ended up catching 4 LM, 1 Rock Bass, and was bitten off by something with teeth all within a 1 hour period. This still water was very shallow at anywhere from 6"-3'.
Finally, I tried shore fishing the Milwaukee River in West Bend for Smallmouths. I wasn't sure where I might find them, but tried a few spots I've had luck with in the past. Within an hour I landed 2 smallies in the 13-14" range and lost a bigger smallie that was sitting next to some submerged timber. Again with the Blue Fleck and same rig, I caught smallies next to shore in slow-moving skinny water, as well as the rivers deeper water with current.
The one thing that holds true for every time I've used the Power Tube, is that after the fish pick it up, they don't let go! That always gives me enough time to feel the fish if I didn't feel the pick-up, which results in catching more fish. Fish hold on to them, they last for multiple fish, and rigged tex-posed makes them weedless with easy hooksets; just match or contrast the color of the bottom and if there are fish there, they'll bite."

"Being on a serious mission this season to catch a trophy Largemouth, I decided to try a few new techniques. Having used Berkley Powerbait Worms in the past with success, I decided to try some tubes. After reading the reviews of this product, I picked up a pack of 4" tubes in the Smoke color and Blue Fleck color. Now I know that most folks would hop these around rocks or just crawl 'em along the bottom, however, I decided to "think outside of the box" a little. While bank fishing a favorite small pond, I crawled my Smoke tube filled with a Zoom Tube Rattle across the top of a thick grassy mat. After about my fifth cast...BAM...my biggest largmouth (to date) broke the grass canopy and engulfed the Powerbait Tube! She was 20" long, had a 15.5 girth and weighed 5lb - 5oz! I released her to play another day!
Berkley products rarely let me down and I know these tubes along with other Berkley products will help me land a true trophy sooner or later!"

"When the smallies are down deep in the fall, they love to hit a Power Tube on the end of a football jig. I've tried all sorts of tubes, but nothing gets the number of bites the Power Tube gets. An added bonus, they're super durable. I pulled in over fifteen fish averaging 2.5 lbs in two hours using just one tube. At the end of the day I just about mounted it on a plaque."

"I have never used an artificial bait to this success, we like to fish Lake couchiching in Orillia Ont. Water is so clear. This smoke tube always produces big bass. 20" + are common. We caught 1 4.5 lbs smallsmouth this year already and 2 in the same day last year on Georgian Bay. I would recommend these anyday. For some reason the Vaughan Mills store doesn't carry them anymore.......Get them back."
