"I have the smokin shad color it works great! When ever i cast it out i have blugill and sunfish and bass chasing after it. can't tear them up with normal wear. almost caught a monster fish but my rod wasn't stiff enough."

"I have had major success with this lure so far over the summer i have not found a color that that bass here in New England have not liked. I use a weighted hook for some added action and the fish just nail it. But buy far the most important feature is that it is good for more than one fish. unlike the GULP that can fall off on a short cast. I cannot get enough of it. and have used it in all times of day. shade or sun and variable water temp's all i can say is it just works"

"I have been using this bait on a private pond where i live in New England. And i cant stop using it. I use a weighted hook and change speeds but no matter what i just cought big fish every time i have gone out. I have used other jerk shads that worked but i am able to get more than one fish per use with this bait. i would stay away from the berkley gulp where it was so soft sometimes a short cast caused my bait to fall off"

"I like the action of these shad baits with a lead jerkbait weighted hook.
It has a great fall to it, kinda side to side and sometimes swirling. Or you can glide them easy with a slight pull.
Also, easy to skip under overhanging trees and just kill it.
I got a nice bass 1st cast over a big rock and then Bang! A big shadow made it dissapear.
These baits are competitive with similar ones, only cheaper."
