Great jig,August 23, 2009
By greenlakerfrom Wisconsin
Advantages: Quality, Style/Design
"Works well for spring flipping. I use it on a brush hog type for light jigging in mid water or popping on bottom. Hook is thin, good for 10# test sets or larger. Pricy though...."

great jig head,February 17, 2009

"I catch a lot of small mouth bass with this jig head, and a twin tailed grub. The hook is sharp, and the weed guard work good in cover."

Excellent Stand-up with added bonus,November 18, 2007
By cre8tiv369from Sacramento, CA
"I bought my first pack of these a little over a year ago and I have since purchased several more. I generally fish these with Chompers twin tail grubs as I found them superior to Yamamoto. The colors are far better and the garlic scent is an added bonus. Unlike other stand up jigs, the weight to water resistance ratio on these are incredible. The rate of fall is slower, thus allowing better presentations. All three sizes fall vertically and make a perfect stand up landing due to the extra width on the head. For extremely inactive bass, I go 1/8 and it falls about 4 feet in 10 seconds, the 1/4 will make it to about 7 and the 3/8 will go about 10. Great hook up ratio and they work great in rock, wood, or vegetation. Since most bass hit jigs on the fall, more time in the strike zone is worth it alone. That slow fall allows you to really work laydowns, grass, floating weeds, shore lines and drop offs."

Great jig head,November 7, 2007
By Andrew79from Racine Wisconsin
"My friends and I have been using theese for a long time now. We use them for fishing twin tail skirted chompers and hulla grubs. The variety of weights will allow you to effectively work different depths of the water. The weed guard is effective, but usually needs to be trimmed as the are normally too long right out of the package. And the hooks never need sharpening."

Awesome jighead,October 27, 2006
By smljawfrom Lexington, KY
"These jigheads work great with beaver type soft plastics and YUM craw baits. I use the 1/8 size quite a bit when creek fishing for smallmouth. The hooks are super sharp and they slip through rocky cover well. Try them with hula grubs and worms too. They're awesome!"

deep fish,August 4, 2006
By smalliesfrom Lancaster,PA
"the chompers stand up jig hooks work great when you need to tempt the fish right at their noses. The hook stays sharp and rarely gets snagged as it has the rock guard. These are most lethal on bass using the double tailed hula grub. I will not head for the water without these."
