"When I tried this grub for the first time, I had been using senkos and was catching fish, but I changed to this, I started catching bigger bass and the bite was consistant. Durability is ok, but the look and scent drive bass crazy."

"I cant say enough about the action that the tail gives this bait alone. I texas rig mine, and in my opinion, that is the only way to go. I have caught many bass on this bait. I like the 5" baits, but i also catch them on the 4". The durability of these baits are amazing. When i first saw them, i was praying that they wouldnt fall apart on the first hit from a bass. The bass didnt even phase the bait one bit. This is my number one softbait to go to when i need to catch the big bass. All of the good reviews speak for how well this bait works."

"I've been using the Yamamoto twin tails for last 4 years, due largely to their popularity and wide availability in the California Delta region. Two factors prompted me to make the switch. The Chompers offer a skirted 4" version and their color selection is far more comprehensive. The flavor seems to be more appealing too, because my hook-up ratio has improved since making the switch. The broader selection of style and color, superior attractant and a lower price tag make this choice a no brainer."

"I have caught more walleye on this grub than any other, Yum & Powerbait to name a few. Just put it on a lead head to get to the desired depth, put a whole night crawler on it....and presto, fish on. I actually prefer the non skirted version, but they have both been very productive for me. The scent is the best in town, very strong and does not wear off. Love coming home with limits of eyeballs, best eating fresh water fish for my taste. Fish On!"

"I bought these on a whim...fished them in a tournament and actually won top prize!! They catch bass when nothing else works. Fish them on a 3/0 wide gap texas rigged with a 1/8 oz. bullet weight and they are DYNAMITE! Try the ROOTBEER GREEN FLAKE in a 4"...just dont fish were I am fishing..haha..!! My only regret is that i only bought 2 packages at Toronto Bass Pro shop and now they are out of stock!!!"

"These are excellent baits. They swim well and they definately catch fish. I use them with the Chompers jig heads in 1/4 ounce and 3/8 ounce weights. They work very well even when the jig and pig does not."

"This is a must have bait. I have caught Pike, Largemouth, smallmouth, walleyes, and crappies on theese baits. I preferr to fish them on 1/8 or 1/4 ounce stand up jig heads. Steady swimming retrieve or bounce it off the bottom will both produce. Also, it is not a bad idea to buy the G formula spray bottle and give them a fresh coating of garlic from time to time."

"I had a local fisherman reccomend these to me for a lake he fishes and they are now one of my favorite baits. I mainly use the black and blue and I texas rig them, or use them on a jig. The only thing I would reccomend is to wear a glove or something when rigging these, they stink like garlic!"

"I fish a local pond at least twice a month during regular fishing times. These things are never far from me. I throw it out and almost everytime i get a bite. It's great to actually see the chompers g-formula working since you can litterally see the formula bleed off the bait. Last year around October, I nearly caught a crappie off of a 4". Never seen or caught a crappie ever in this water. This bait is one to keep not only because it works but because it's such a versatile lure that nearly any fish will bite."

"So, I've been using the same bag of these for quite some time. I use them as jig trailers. They have a VERY powerful scent. I imagine the taste is probably pretty strong too. I catch bass in the 3-5 lb. range using these as trailers on my jigs, which is pretty good for farm ponds in Illinois. I highly recommend these grubs."

"I bought my first bag of these a little over a year ago and have not bought any other brand since. I prefer these to Yamamoto and all the others including custom hand pours. The colors are vibrant and alive, the best I have seen. They are durable and last longer than most, especially salt impregnated. The garlic scent simply catches fish. I have outfished friends who swore by other brands and they are now believers in Chompers. I have been impressed by everything chompers makes including their stand up jigs which are my favorite jig for these twin tails. Regardless of how you choose to fish these, if you are looking for the best spider gubs on the market, you just found them."
