Squirmers, December 31, 2008
By Bassmacker from Texas

"These are great shad baits. I bought them in the 3 inch firetiger color, and the 2 inch blue with orange head color, and they are sweet. I rig them on a 1/16 ounce jighead, and its just like a mini swimbait. The paddle tails work really well, whether worked slow or fast, they go nuts in the water. When rigged on a jighead, if you reel it in slower, its nose points towards the ground, which looks really good, and they come in 20 packs, which is way more than you pay for, for such a good bait."

pick the right colors, November 4, 2008
By muskieloser1 from toronto , ontario

"This happens to be one of my favourite swimbaits. fairly durable. I've been using a 4/0 hook on mine and the baits hold up to the big fish. I've caught bass and pike on it so far. Just pick your colors wisely."

By Envied from hendersonville Nc

"With a 4/0 ewg hook i texas rigged this and swam the #11 color bait over grass and on my 2nd cast wham a nice 6 pounder hit. This bait is not perfect though. It rips very easy and i was not able to use the same bait again."

"This weekend I added an 1/8 oz. lead head to the green pumpkinseed/pearl hologram colored 2" jerk bait and tied it on to my 6.5' medium action spinning rod with 8 lb. test line. I bounced it off the bottom of a 1-6' deep quickly flowing river (Little Sac, Stockton Lake Missouri) above and below the rapids and caught two walleye and four white bass between 4-6 pm. Walleye will chew it up a bit and to find em on the bottom you'll lose a few, so take extra."

Yikes....... its squirmy, March 15, 2008
By MyNameHere from North Carolina

"Nice bait. Used with a red extra wide gap. I think a size 5 hook with the 4.5 or 5" tiger shad. It was a rough day on the water so I only caught 2 Bass. Small ones, 2 pounders. No weights were used. Just hooked it and cast."

Why change them?, August 7, 2007
By Fishin Kansas

"I have used these for years. I always buy them in bulk so it had been a while since I had bought any. They changed for the worst. They are so soft now after you catch one fish the lure is usually torn and you have to put a new one on. I'm very disappointed. I can only hope they figure this problem out and fix it."

By JB from PA

"These are simply one of the best swimbaits i have ever used. My dad bought these in Branson and never used these i picked them up the other day fed a tube hook up the middle and slammed the fish the next two days out. I even caught two pike a baby one and a monster 35 inch which is goin on the wall. I also caught 2 largemouth. Both atleast 2 lbs. I will definately buy more of these."

Unqualified "thumbs up", July 14, 2007
By CallMeChaz from Cape Haze, FL

"I bought the Dace color minnows in 2 to 4 inch for flats fishing in Southwest Florida. The color/shape/size really mimics many of the natural baits that swim here. 200 snook can't be wrong because they agree with me!

My wife and I have been catching snook from the beach this season until we are sick of catching them. We outfish our shrimp-slinging companions with these lil' guys, 2 to 1. They don't work work better than shrimp, they work just as well. The added bonus, however, is that I don't have to carry a pail of shrimp; I don't have to replace my bait every time I get a strike; I don't have every creature in the Gulf stealing my bait! I spend more time with my hook in the water, so we outfish the shrimpers.

Snook anhilate them!! They work their best at night. I'm not surprised, since I can feel the tail vibrate through my fishing rod. I'm sure that rings the dinner bell for a hungry snook, as they have a very sensitive lateral line. If I can feel the vibes, so can they. Very impressive engineering for a relatively inexpensive soft lure!

Frankly, I don't know how you could wrong in most fishing situations. They have the look, the feel, the vibes, and the price.

Tight lines, y'all.

unbelievable, June 26, 2007
By walleye rick

"I've been fising for many, many years and have never used a better walleye bait. They work well with a small jig head and are killers when you use them behind a #2 or #3 Mepps black fury with chartreuse dots on the blade. Just snip off the treble hook off and use a split ring to attach a #4 baitholder hook, thread on a 2-inch firetiger shad and start haulin in the 'eyes."

Walleye bait, July 30, 2006
By eyejigger from Pembroke, Ontario

"As an angler without a boat I routinly fish smaller rivers for walleye. I have not found a better soft plastic to tip my jigs with than swimbaits such as these. These shads are probably the best I have tried, they are soft enough that walleye and bass will hold on to the jig without letting go, and strong enought that they are not constantly tearing off the hook. I highly reccomend the 3 inch size for walleye big or small, in firetiger. They work form spring trough to ice-up."

A great swimbait!, July 14, 2006
By 2crows from NJ

"These shads have the same great action that the more expensive swim shads do. The tail swishes back and forth at even the slowest speeds and the entire body of the shad shakes side to side when fished on the appropriate jighead. Great with large and smallmouth bass, crappies, and perch in freshwater and stripers, bluefish, and weakfish in saltwater. Makes a great crankbait when you want to avoid using trebel hooks. Just wish they had one in all white or pearl for the stripers."

"I think that the colours of the shads is not the same as the picture on the internet, they are much darker in colour in real life. But they still are one of the best buys."
