"I've never really used any kind of Tubes before, but I learned quick with these Tubes. These and the Bass Pro Shops Squirmin' Grubs are the two best, cheapest, panfish lures on the market.
I pulled out a red & white Bass Pro Shops Squirmin' Squirt today, and caught a 13" Crappie (my PB Crappie), a 7" Crappie, and two 5" Bluegill. On my previous fishing trip with these lures, I also caught two BIG Green Sunfish, which were around 6" a piece.
When your Squirmin' Grubs' magic wares off, tie on a Squirmin' Squirt, and start back catching fish!"

"This is not always a good bait if you plan to spend a whole day fishing. If you have planned a whole day you might want to bring gear for other species as well. On two seperate fishing trips to Lake of the Ozarks last year I caught my limit in an hour. I was the first person to rise so while I waited on the others to wake up I decided to sit on the dock and try to catch some crappie I put on a black and blue squirt on a road runner head and silver crappie nibbles. I caught 27 crappie in 45 minutes only kept my limit but by the time everyone else was ready I was already limited out."

"i have used this lure multible times in the smallest size with the light green colors they work great in clear lake CA catch blue gill with this lure all day even caught a 4pound largemouth bass once too even though the size of the lure was tiny they are great for all sorts of different fish but the swchools of small bluegill will try and will rip the legs off of it sometimes but there cheap and you get alot of them so its not bad Great lure you are crazy if you dont give it a try."

"These little Squirmin Squirts are amazing. I used these when the blue gill were spawning on the Magothy River in my hometown and caught multiple blue gill w/ colors 05 and 29. I highly recommend these for panfish. Also I have seen yellow perch come after this and hit it hard, and i have had maybe two white perch on this gem."

"I combined the BPS Squirmin Squirts with a locally made floating jig head. it turned out to be a tremendous top water Crappie Lure. I took it to a high pressure farm pond that is generally hit or miss. Not expecting to catch much like usual. But to my suprise I could barely make a cast without a crappie attacking this great little tube. This was my first really exciting time on the water this year. I can't wait to get back out there. "Without a doubt this is the best pan fish bait I've ever used. I keep at least 500 Squirts of all different colors on my boat at all times. I've caught huge crappie, perch and bluegil with these, not to mention a 18 inch yellow perch while fishing Canada. This bait will catch just about any species in the lake. I've caught 3-4 pound smallmouth and largemouth bass and we have also caught 36-39 inch Muskies with them. Eight of us fish Canada on an annual trip and we all use them all week. My favorites are white, watermelon, cotton candy, and black firetail"

"As any fisherman may have several different favorites in their tackle box, these little gems have to be at the top of serious anglers list.
I believe that a true measure of a bait is when it will work when all else fails. These Jigs have proven themselves to me time and time again. I have had trips where several poles were baited with shiners, and the BPS Squirmin Squirts outfished live bait side by side.
The colors that work well in my home lake are black/green in the Fall and Winter, and black/pink or pink/white in the spring and summer. I use them primaraly for Crappie, but have caught Bass, Brim, Catfish, and Hybrid Stripers on these baits.
I maintain several different colors of these Squirts, but I am certain to keep some of my favorates in reserve, both in the boat and in the garage, for restocking my tackle box after those magical days on the lake."

"I stock up on these every year, and usually go through them. I find the Pink White version work best in my area and outproduce darker colours. For small tubes they are easily cast and get decent distance"

"I also highly recommend these, but for a different application. They work great as a mini jig fished for trout. Recently used them in the Sierras at South and Convict Lake with the trout hitting them when nothing else was working. Had good luck with pumpkinseed and the cotton candy colors fished on a 1/32 ounce Gamakatsu jig head. The salt on them seems to help as they outfished other brands in same color. Good luck!"

My favorite lure,May 20, 2006

"I would highly recommend this product. I have pretty much used only this product when fishing over the last few years. The main reason is that it works! Also it is relatively cheap if you lose one on a snag. Mainly the color that I use is a red head and a yellow tail. I have caught crappies, sunfish, perch, rock bass, smallies and largemouth bass as well on these jigs. I've even caught sea trout while on vacation in Florida on them. For the price and ease of them they will always be in my tackle box. Try them!!"
