The best for summer smallmouth fishing, July 9, 2007
By brooktrout

"If you like to wade down the river on hot summer afternoons fishing for smallmouth, this item is perfect. You can store a nice variety of crankbaits, spinner baits, topwater lures and it's perfect for storing live hellgrammites, should the artificial action slow down. The way it folds down also creates a decent work surface when you're waist deep in the river. I have owned two of these for over 15 years and they have been practically indestructable. I finally broke one this season by dropping a 16 pound boat anchor on it from about 3 feet (unintentionally). Even with that, it merely popped a on inch hole in the inner lid. I came here looking to see if I could purchase a replacement for it and was thrilled to see that they are still available. The two I own have been used hard and heavy for many years and have lasted far better than I would ever have expected."

very durable, September 16, 2008
By Metroangler from Southern California

"I purchased one of these 15 plus years ago to use when stream fishing. Its taken a serious beating and still holding up.
I now use it to fish off a personal poontoon and it really comes in handy as space is limited. Im ordering another for my son.

By STN007 from Kansas

"I purchased one of these many years ago and it was lost in a move to a new address. I have been searching for this HANDY little box for years to purchase but could never find until now. I ordered one the minute I found it! It is PERFECT for pond and river fishing when you just don't want to carry around your tackle box."

Great product, June 29, 2007
By Ray

"15 or more years ago Berkley marketed this item as the "Fishin' Partner". I still have the one I bought way back then for about ten bucks, and I still use it even though a bit of carelessness on my part resulted in breakage of one of the hinges. Now the lid on that side has a makeshift hinge made of package strapping tape. It has more than ample room for a good variety of lures and jigheads, especially when fishing for panfish or crappie. The larger outboard compartments are large enough for a small "leatherman" type combination tool and/or line clipper, and when folded down from its latched/closed position it makes a nifty little shelf ot work on. I was afraid this product had been discontinued long ago, but now that I've found a place to get a replacement for my broken one, I'll probably order one today."
