A very good net,October 5, 2009
By Tex56from Matagorda, Texas
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money Disadvantages: mono brail lines snag net
"A "TRUE" nylon net but it has mono brail lines. Catches everything I put it over. I love a nylon net. Very difficult to find an affordable nylon net that works this well."

An essential tool for big cats,June 27, 2008
By TheRiVeRRATfrom Hamilton , OH
"If you like to go after big blues or flathead cats you need to have a castnet. castnets not only save you alot of money but will help you catch the big cats. this is because they supply you with good fresh bait local to the area you are fishing. if you do not own a cast net catfishing bait can be very expensive and low quality. going to a bait shop and buying a dozen goldfish is sutch a waist. buy one, you will never turn back ,i promise."

Best Way to Catch Minnows,March 4, 2008
By Colbfrom Darien, IL
"I own an umbrella net and a seline net but a umbrella net is the best and easiest way to catch minnows. I thought learning to throw it would be hard but learning it only took me about 10 throws. There are many good (and bad) videos on the internet to help."

GREAT NET,August 13, 2006
By twoodfishfrom ST PETERSBURG, FL
"Anyone could use this net! Smooth action and sinks fast. It still gills smaller baits, but the soft mesh makes it easy to shake out. Guys using the 3/8 mesh come up empty, and I have bait! Only concern is life with use in saltwater. Has been OK, but have soaked in fresh water after every use. Worth every penny!"

5 foot 1\4 mesh nylon,June 15, 2006
By kayakjamesfrom livermore, ca
"First off it took me a few try's to get the full circle thing down but I had it going in no time. The net worked great no smelt or shinners harmed at all I didnt loose a single fish to the net the nylon is alot softer than mono Just be carefull they will tear, but I got snagged 2 times and it held up really good, the amazing thing is that nothing escapes from the 1\4 mesh I caught little minnows that couldnt have been more than 1\2 inch long, caught many shinners about 1inch long. bottom line this is a sweet net."
