"I have used many brands of spinnerbaits. I have caught fish with all of them. I catch more and bigger fish with the Terminator T-1's, period. I fished on a local private lake with a buddy who fishes it all the time. He was using his own custom spinnerbait that he makes for himself on that lake. From the back of his boat, I out-fished him 3 to 1 with my T-1. The bite is bigger, and the fish don't short-strike. I am a member of a local bass club that most members swear by Wareagel spinnerbaits. I have a couple, they are nice, but they don't catch fish like my Terminator T-1's. Don't worry about the head paint coming off....it does not affect the ability of this lure to catch fish at all. I have worn the paint off of mine long ago, it plain doesn't matter to the fish. Add a trailer, keep it wet, and be ready every cast for what may be the best bass of your life."

"So far this is the best spinnerbait i've used so far. It is hard to keep up with buying all of the new spinnerbaits. It may be a little on the pricey side but I will last a long time and it has amazing action.
Remember KVD says to never just reel it a spinnerbait always twich, jerk, and make it look injured and it should cause a reaction strike. It will also improve the amount of strikes you get."

"I got my first terminator lure five years ago and will never go back to the other brands. This lure is the most durable spinnerbait ever built hands down. I use it for bass fishing mainly, but in the early summer months I also use the same lure for musky fishing. I've never had a lure break on me yet. The biggest muskie I've caught with it is a 46 and a half inch 22 lb hog. See if the Booyah will still swim straight after that one, If it makes back in one piece. It always goes back to its original shape no matter what the size of the fish. The only thing you would have to replace is the skirt which is made easy with the quick skirt design. I now keep 40 of these lures on hand."

"Terminator T-1s have been my favorite spinnerbaits for a few years now. I catch more fish on them than any other and I have total confidence in them. They aren’t cheap, but they are very durable and worth the money. I think their particular sound, flash, and vibration is more appealing to bass than some lesser spinnerbaits. I absolutely SLAGHTER the fish on them on my home lake of Lake Oconee, Georgia during the threadfin shad spawn in late April through mid-May. Fishing rip-rap and seawalls, I catch a combination of largemouths, hybrid bass (striper/white bass hybrids), white bass, stripers, and even occasionally a channel cat on them during this period. I’ve had T-1s that I have caught at least 200 fish on before they wear out or are lost. The flexible titanium frame means you rarely loose a fish, because they can’t shake them easy. They do have a couple of drawbacks to note….1) the flexible frame makes them hang up easier in heavy cover (like blow downs) than steel wire frame spinnerbaits. 2.) The main blade occasionally comes off and is lost. I fix this problem by (carefully) putting a drop of super glue on the split ring when they are new….never have the problem after I do that. Buy’em…they work!"

"The original T-1 Terminator Bait has to be one of the best baits on the market today. They are extremely durable and have the ease of changing skirts in a flash. Although these baits are not the cheapest in the world, in this case you get what you pay for."

"I live in Central Florida on a lake. I have used the Terminator spinner baits for bass fishing for a couple of years now. These are without a doubt the strongest most durable spinner baits sold and catch fish!! I have used all sorts of spinner baits. The Terminator is the only one that the wire does not bend out of shape after catching a few bass. All you need to do is make certain to re-tie you line from time to time. This is my favorite spinner bait of all time!!"

"I have two of these spinnerbaits and I really love them both. Not only are they incredibly durable, but the skirts look amazing and breath beautifully in the water. "I started using the terminator spinnerbaits because where I live you can run into the occasional Musky. I was using the steel wire spinnerbaits and after catching a musky and even after catching bass the spinnerbait would be all bent out of shape and most the time I could never get it to run true again with out lots of tweaking. Every year twice a year I head north and catch large Pike, smallmouth and even the occasional walleye on these and with the exception of having to replace a skirt and trailer from the teeth of a pike or musky cutting the rubber off, the wire on this bait is ready to go with no straightening and it runs true. I don't have any other brand of spinnerbaits in my boat."

"I have been using THE SAME terminators since they were introduced years ago. They didn't even call them T-1 back then. Sure they are a little pricey, but a great value compared to replacing your bent up, twisted up spinners all the time. They have outstanding colors and the skirts are so easy to change. No silly rubber bands and what not. It is a bit tough to change the blades, but terminator offers enough variety, I'm sure you can find what you are looking for. I have caught numerous bass on these and the snap back frame just keeps on performing fish after fish. I consider steel framed spinners disposable. How would you like to get on a hot spinnerbait pattern only to get all your spinners twisted up? Terminator has found the answer."

"I would like to start by saying that I caught the biggest fish of my life on a T-1 and for a few days they are really great baits. That being said they seem to just fall apart on me when fish on braid line. I have had both the frame snap and three baits have lost their main blades. None of this happened while fighting a fish, just randomly during the retrieve."

"Terminator spinnerbaits are THE BEST spinnerbaits on the market!!! The are the toughest you can buy and hardly ever need tuning, even after catching a bruiser bass. Just an hour ago I caught my two biggest bass within 3 casts with the terminator spinnerbait (7 pounds, and 8 1/2 pounds). It is also responsible for my top 10 biggest bass ever if not more!!! The components are top notch, the finish is awsome, and the quick change skirts are ingenious. They are more expensive then most other spinnerbaits, but with the luck Ive had and the quality you get, they are worth their weight in gold! PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and pick up some of these great spinnerbaits! You will not be dissapointed!!!!"

Terminator a lil disappointing,June 22, 2006

"After hearing (mostly from advertisements) how top-tier the Terminator line is, I decided to buy a few. Granted, the components of the bearing swivels and o-rings and skirts are very nice. The titanium wire does seem to hold it's shape well and has a nicer "give" than does steel. But, the finish was pretty disappointing, especially with rough edges on the head and poor painting. Strike King and Booyah (costing almost half as much) have a much more professional finish. For the price, I'd have to say the parts do not add up to the expensive whole. Maybe these things aren't supposed to matter in a bass lure, but they do to me in spending hard-earned money."
