Great net,March 28, 2009
By FISHUNT7from BAMA
"I do not trout fish but I do use this net for panfish and crappie. I use a small one man boat and do not have room for a large net. I regularly catch bluegill in the 1.5 lb range and occasionally larger. After losing a couple of 2 lb bream because of breaking my light line when lifting the fish in the boat, I decided to carry a small net to lift the bigger fish in the boat. This has been the perfect net for me and I have a couple of slab bluegills mounted that the net was used to bring in."

"Inexpensive but not cheap. Comfortable foam handle and tough netting. No damage to the net because it is run inside of the hoop . I bought one fast because I thought the price was a typo....great deal!!"

the best trout net for the price,February 14, 2008
By NConlybowhunter
"This is by far the cheapest trout net REALLY worth paying for. You'll get your money back once you use it. Its large enough for the big trouts yet light weight too. And to me, when I'm on the river thats important because I dont want to feel like I am hauling extra weight. I like wooden trout nets, but this one is worth more in the long run. And you can get two or three for the same price as a wooden one."

Long time no break,October 18, 2006
By Panfishafrom Baltimore, MD
"I bought this cause I catch crayfish for bait and my nets keep ripping on the rim. Saw this, bought it, it only scratches when it hits rocks hard. just surface scratches. its deep for long trout. Medium size mesh for minnows. Just get it. Its better than them 40$ wooden catch and release nets :D"
