"i have used this large retractor for blues and stripers ,dogfish and porgies . love the way it works its easy one handed and can reachh down bluefish throuts to get the hook out . We have gotten so the fish do not have to come on the boat reach over follow the line/ leader down to the hook grab the bend , squeeze the grips and give a shake off come the little guys no worse for wear . big ones come off to but ussallly have to get weighed before putting them back . my brother in law even bought a set . and whne my boat came out one of my fishing buddies asked if we could leave it on his boat to use until he pulls his out . ( he has ordered one now."

"This is a great tool to have - I do not like sticking my fingers down the mouth of a fish (sometime I can't get my fingers down the mouth) and I don't want to harm or kill the fish, before I put it back in the water.
