"I recently purchased a set of long gun protective socks. They are worth the money, especially if one owns high priced rifles and shotguns. They keep dust out, keep your prized possession from getting scratched too. Also a good barrier against humidity."

"Bought this to protect my "favorite" shotguns and rifles while not in use. Trying to get them in and out of my safe was difficult without dinging into another firearm. So I put these socks on my more "precious" firearms that I want to keep looking good."

"Fine... but those sleeves can be used for bare guns only. If the gun is assembled with scope or some other accessories that increase the size, the sleeve won't fit well."

"This was the three pack which saved me three bucks.
These fit my shotgun and two rifles with no problem.
I had to take the scope off my rifle which was fine, if it would have fit with the scope they would not be as good a fit as they are. For the money you can't go wrong with these, a small amount to pay to protect your weapons."

"I purchased a three-pack of these sleeves to test them out. They're a great product, well made and I'm sure will do exactly what they are intended to do. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not five is that I found them a little tight when pulling them over scoped-rifles. They work but I think that the tube width could be just a little more generous."

"these socks are an inexpensive way to keep all your firearms clean and safe. they are easy to put on, and take off.
i use these for when i am transporting my rifles around. and store some of them in the socks.
i know someone who has had one of these for over 15 years and it is in pretty good condition.
they are great for when you have no where to store those bulky cases, and will do in a pinch for a temporary case."

"These are great. You should have one for every gun you own. Just an extra measure to keep those "seldom used" guns in the safe/cabinet in top shape. Works awesome. A good wipe down, and then into the sleeve they go, into the safe. been using these for years now."

"I bought 6 of these. I went out and fired the rifles and then placed them in these sack-up sleeves and 3 months later pulled them out they looked awesome. They were not gumed up or anything. Then I cleaned one of the rifles and had to go without putting a lite coat of oil on it. I was worried it would be rusty or look as if I did not clean it, but to my surprise it looked clean as a whistle. WOW these sleeves are awesome. It is toatlly worth the price to protect your collection."
