"These are by far the best tails that I have used. I have the best luck with the John Deere and Wally World colors. I use them for crappie, bluegill, and bass. I have also caught catfish and walleye using them."

Works for more than just panfish.,May 13, 2009

"I tried these on the lagoons of the local state park this year, hoping to get into some crappie. The crappie bite never really took off, but I discovered the stocked rainbow trout love these things. I regularly caught 30 + trout a day, with my best day bringing in 55 (all catch and release).
I generally fish these with a simple 1/16 ounce jig head. If the fish are hitting short or just following, I found the same 1/16 ounce jig head on a small Lindy spinner will get them to hit more aggressively.
While these are great crappie lures, don’t think that’s all they will catch."

"No sense in using anything else to pull in slabs. I've even caught trout and bass with this grub. This works when nothing else does, also works well with a road runner. The notre dame and chartreuse shad colors work best for me."

"I just went fishing this past weekend in up north Wisconsin. I read about these so I thought I would give them a try. I used the john deere green with a 1/16 oz black jig head. There were 15 of us fishing and I was catching more and bigger crappie than anyone else. They were also catching bluegill, bass, and one northern. We tried different twist tails and they didn't do anything. THESE ARE AMAZING!!!"

"These are part of my favorite "slab Crappie" technique. I use these with two roadrunner spinner heads while trolling. I vary the size or combination of sizes of spinners to maintain a certain depth. The blue/black/chartruse grub is best in my area...with the fire tiger also bringing in large ones. I pinch the end of the grub off, right at the first ring, thread it on the roadrunner head, and tie two on at once...15" apart. Try trolling between .8 and 1.3 mph to create the proper action. This technique is great with dipsy divers also. You'll catch 'em when no one else can. Best colored grubs by far!!!!"

"These are the best quality twister tails that Ive found. The colors are amazing and there is a awesome variety to choose from. My favorites are blue/clear and John Deere green. Green has turned out to be a better color than what I had predicted. Blue is awesome for clear lakes for crappie and bluegills. Always use blue for the bluegills and ears. If you fish these, put them on a roadrunner 1/16oz. with a chartreuse or white head. Its simply the best crappie bait out there. Give this combo a shot. They truley catch anything that swims, exp. crappie!"

"Great product !!! I love bass fishing with the frog. My 13 year old son really doesn`t care for it , that much. He prefers pan fishing. I had went to ask my trusty fish loving neighbor, what he uses for pan fish and likes the best. He brought out has pan fishing tackel box. And he had hunders of these in all the colors. He gave me a hand full from 5 diffrent colors and said, These are my best colors and the best bait I have used in 30 + years. So we gave them a try. Im HOOKED on them . We have a blast catching pan fish after pan fish, small bass as well. Now I buy them buy the hundres."
