"THE PRODUCT IS GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE LID WHICH CAN EASILY SAPERATE/BREAK OFF FROM THE ROPE OTHER THAN THAT THE PRODUCT IS GOOD."

"The online picture of this product leads you to believe that the livewell is made of a plastic material (similar to a 5-gallon pail. It is actually made from 1/2" Styrofoam, the cover too is Styrofoam. Have used this product over the last 3 weeks and it has worked well. I'm not sure the Styrofoam is going to hold up for the entire season tho."

Disadvantages: lid hinges break but only after excessive usage
"Have used these buckets for over twenty years. The only problem I have had is the lid hinges break after a lot of use.Used cabinet door hinges on the first, artificial sinew on the second and am still using them 3-4 times a week .Just purchased a new one but saving it for when it is needed. Good value and minnows live well in these."

"I order what i thiguth I was getting and got something different the pictures shows a 5 gallon bucket and I received a stirefoam insert. Be very careful what you order. However it performs well"

"I always purchase my minnows the evening before a trip to the lake. This bucket and air pump keeps them alive all night and all the next day. I have used this bucket twice with the pump running 24 hrs each time and have yet to replace the batteries."

Disadvantages: Durability
"As you can see in the picture this "minnow bucket" looks like a plastic bucket. However when it came in the mail it was a styrafoam bucket. It obviously will not last as long nor be as durable. I have never had this problem with Bass Pro before but will be a little leary in the future."

"This is a very amazing bucket in many ways. One is that the fish stay alive forever and once I put the bait like herring on my hook they are alive and ready to catch me a fish. Also the "cool bubbles" last a very long time."

"I have owned one for two years. The bait stays nice and cool, and the aerator runs FOREVER on 2 D cells. I once left it on all night and it was still running strong the next morning. I left the batteries in it for three months in my shed, and it STILL ran strong. AWESOME!"
