"The Hot Foot throttle is one device that should become required as a safety device on every bass boat sold. I consider this device to be a life saver since it works just like the accelarator on your car. With this device, when you foot comes off the throttle, the main engine will return to idle speed quickly, whereas with the standard hand control throttle it may return and it may not. Safety should be the most important issue when out on the water and a run away boat is not very safe."

"I love my hot foot. The best part is that you can mount each ends of the main bracket and you can position the actual hotfoot anywhere on the bracket. The mount allows you to slid the hot foot back or forward based on your leg length. It was also easy to install. The only problem i got is the actual hot foot has a little room to slide back an fourth. Not much play but not completely tight. Overall a great product..."

"I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a bass boat. The installation was very easy and the product works perfectly. The combination of this with the Teleflex Marine Pro-Trim allows me to keep both hands on the steering wheel while controlling the gas, trim, and jack plate."

"This in my opinion is a manditory boat accessory for 90 hp and up outboard engines. High quality construction and great performance. I have however seen a spring break after 10+ years of use. I view this as a small issue for the benefit. This is also a safety product. Driver needs to be able to keep both hands on the wheel. Would highly reccomend this to anyone with a side throttle control. Try it and you'll never go back."
