"I got this in today among other items, and it works Great! It's not to big and fits perfectly fine in my tackle bag. Would definitely recommend to every fisherman out there who wants to ensure a sharp hook for those finnicky fish."

Good enough,May 22, 2009
By Knucklesfrom Eugene, Oregon
"I got this for my fly-vest. I'm not too happy with it for that application as it is just too large and a bit too bulky for the pocket I needed it to fit in. I did however find a home for it in my bass kit. It works just fine and makes dull or bent hooks like new. Just stick to larger hooks and use a ceramic for your #22 Adams'."

Good Little Sharpener,January 29, 2009
By FIGJAMfrom Middle TN
"I bought this sharpener to touch up old bass jigs and it worked like a champ!! I then used it to touch up some trebles and some old worm hooks. The key is that the hooks can't be all rusted up. If they have a hint of rust you are okay but if they are covered with it you are better off replacing the hooks. This will do the job to resharpen and to touch up existing hooks but it will not bring one back to life that is too far gone. It it double sided and every hook should be sharpened on bothe sides becuase one is rougher than the other."

A must have for your tackle box,July 18, 2008
By ZNickeyfrom Baltimore, MD
"This is a much better hook sharpener versus the 99 cent designs as it has a handle. The handle is textured and allows the user more control. It also prevents you from slipping the hook into your hand. The diamond stone sharpens hooks in no time!"

A must have item,April 20, 2008
By bassharier
"Lots of people ask me my secrets for being able to consistantly catch large bass. Some things I don't share but i'll tell you this. I spend lots of time with minute things. Fresh line, quality equipment ( not nessicarely expensive ), good knots, and especially sharp hooks. Many lures today come packaged with dull hooks. You have 3 options here. 1- swap them out. 2- fish with them as be or 3- sharpen them yourself. I choose the latter unless they are just plain cheap. So many fish are lost to dull hooks and this is especially true of large fish. Do yourself a favor and get one of these and most of all, USE IT."

Excellent Product,February 19, 2008
By LargemouthRedneckfrom oklahoma
"This product does wonders on my old and new hooks. I have even tried them on rusty hooks and it sharpened them right up (ones that aren't to far gone from rust). It even works good on treble hooks. Its a good weight not to light but not to heavy if you drop it in deep water though kiss it good bye."
