Great Surprise!!!!,November 11, 2009
By jr68from So. Florida
"What a surprise! We did not expected this tent to live up to the name brand tents but surprisingly enough it did. Great for a family of 4 and ample space for bags, etc. You can actually stand up and change without crouching over and the fact that it has windows on all sides is a plus on those hot nights. The only negative is that the bag it comes in is too small. Will be getting a special duffel for it. If you are a novice camper suggest you do a practice run in your backyard. After you set it up once its a piece of cake."

Poor Craftsmanship,September 6, 2009
By DD2DD2from Baltimore, MD
Advantages: big roomy tent. good pu ratings on fly. Disadvantages: poor craftsmanship weak seams poor design.
"Bought this tent based on the overall reviews and value price for the tent. Set it up in the backyard for a trial run and was immediately disappointed in the design and quality. Seams are not stitched very well, as commented by another reviewer. Rainfly was actually unstitched (or torn at stitching) on one corner. And this was right out of the box.
The design is not the best either. The dome tent sets up rather easily with two poles other than the poles do not fit tightly into the ferrules so they constantly come apart in the sleeves. The rainfly uses five poles. The ridge pole is sturdy and rather straight-forward. The directions indicate to install the ridge pole then strap the fly onto the tent. At this point, you have to guide a flimsy pole through a sleeve at the almost A-Frame front and back of the tent along the edge of the fly. The first half of the procedure is fine, until you get to the point at the ridge pole and have to reangle the pole back towards the ground and through the second sleeve. Then repeat the step at the back of the tent. Again, the poles are not snuggly fit into the ferrules, which makes the process more frustrating and time consuming as the poles keep coming apart.
There are two more short poles to help cantilever the fly over the side windows, which are easy to install. The other design flaw is the D-Style door. There are two D-doors, but you can't open the entire door, which seems useless.
At any rate, I returned the tent the next day with no hassles from Bass Pro."

Survived tornado!!,June 21, 2009
By uclafrom Kouts, Indiana
Advantages: im 6'3 and i still had head room Disadvantages: 2 separate doors instead of 1 big one.
"I purchased this tent about a month ago and I used it for the first time this weekend. I was gone for 3 days. On one of the days a tornado hit. Not only did it survive the high winds and the hail. Not 1 drop of rain came in. There were no marks on the tent. No scratches and no holes. Thier were 10 people camping with me. 2 people per tent. Mine was the one that held up the best. I can not recommend this product enough. Blew my expectations away."

"This tent is very large inside, did well in wind/rain storm. Easy to set up and take down. Only bad thing was on our second use the pole snapped and looked like it had been "fixed". Pro bass did take care of the issue."

disappointing,May 13, 2009
By siothaedfrom Maryland
Disadvantages: not well sewn...cloth tears from seam
"I bought two of these tents on sale. One of them tore in two places the first weekend we used it. In addition, the bag ripped and the zipper came off...it was a bit frustrating.
On the plus side though Bass Pro was great about handling the return. They were able to look up my reciept and refund my money.
We kept the second tent as the kids used it and said they had no problems. Hope it holds up better than the first!"

Perfect for our family!,May 13, 2009
By Megs
"We are a family of four and camping is our summer time get-away. We LOVE our tent! It's perfect for us and it give us plenty of room to move around and spread out! It is super nice. I'm not one to "camp" really but since we bought this tent, I'm willing to go along. Enjoy!"

Best Tent I have ever purchased,March 29, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Montana
"This tent is amzaing. I paid $245 for it two years ago, and it was worth every cent. My family loves it. Has a spot for your shoes, went through a storm, not a leak one! Has a rain fly so that you can open the 5! windows, and not get wet. Very roomy, front is like a canopy. I would recommend it before any other tent, and I have bought tents and been camping now for 40 + years!!!!!!!"
