Disadvantages: Difficult to use
"This is the worst product I ever purchased!!! It does not fit right on my trailer(even though the description say it fits 3" frames). If you do purchase make sure you have lots of wood for shims. The small u-bolt will not fit over the frame and the large u-bolt is to big so you have to shim it. The spare is a nightmare to get on and, off of the carrier. When I go away I have to make sure I pack a tool bag just for the spare tire carrier. PLEASE FISH GODS DON'T LET ME GET A FLAT!!!"

"This product was easy to install, less than ten minutes, and works exactly as advertised. It truly is a universal fit as the trailer I mounted it on was home made and not standard at all."

Good for the money,

"This was the cheapest spare tire carrier I could find. I have several thousand miles with this now and it has worked great. Installation took about 5 minutes. The tire hides this mostly so who cares what it looks like. Solid carrier. Buy this and save some money over the more expensive carriers."
