"Just look at this thing, what more can you say. It's stunning gold finish. Takes all the best of the Elite and adds a beautiful finish and little touches like the handle. It doesn't stop there though, it works better than it looks. I could go on all day about how great this reel looks and works, but suffice to say it is an extremely great quality reel. The sale price is a great value too, so BUY ONE!!"

"i was asking my self why do i need onother reel when i have soo many reels, all top of the line reels including all johny morris reels and after i saw that the gold series jm reel was rated the best buy for 2008 i was curios and bought one thinking that maybe it is better then the elite series and boy i have to tell you i'm glad i've bought the gold series the only problem i have now is that since i got this reel i forgot about all my other reels cause i like it soo much i cant put it down and its great paired up with a carrot stick gold series look at my pics."

"This is the best reel I have.I spooled it with a quality line(Stren). I purposely casted it carelessly to see how bad of a backlash I would get.Almost nothing at all. I would recommend this reel to anyone.The smoothness of this reel is also a plus."

"This here's a great reel!!
After using my BPS bill dance sig series for a year, I figured it was time for me to get a new one! I when to the local bass pro, and picked this up, and some 30lb braid to spool it with! When I got on the water, I noticed that this reel was very smooth and had a great anti back lash... it could also cast TONS further than an other reel I've ever used (even some shimanos)! It also casts light weight lures under 3/16!
The only complaints I have are these;
The drag is a little light, I can pull drag when it's tightened all the way, thank full the fish don't!
Number 2, it needed to be lubed about 1 1/2 after buying it.... no biggy though!
