"As a knitter, I've been on the hunt for years for the perfect storage system for all my needles. I've got DPNS, fixed circulars, tips and cables, plus little rulers, stitch markers, cable ends and cable keys. How can I *possibly* store them all in one place?
My answer, after browsing the Fishing department at Bass Pro World, is the Browning Spinnerbait Binder. It starts with a nice zippered case and a handle I can use to hang it. Inside the zippered case, there are 2 zippered pouches on one side and 4 on the other. Between the covers, two rings (indpendent open/close and turning) hold 5 pages. Each of those pages has 2 zipper pulls which open and close a Ziploc type of zipper on the pouch. This pouch is large enough to hold KnitPicks' 8" DPNs with no problem.
My only concern is that I have been unable to locate more of the pages which came inside the binder. The store had pages with two zippers, but each of the pouches had a seam down the middle making it into two pouches across -- and too small for even the needle tips. Once I can order/buy more pages, my entire needle collection -- including my crochet hooks -- and many of my tools and accessories will fit in this binder. I believe it will even still zip closed!"
