Great results,June 15, 2009
By keepercatcherfrom North Carolina
Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"Purchased two colors for trial, and wow. With the supplied hook ,17lb. test and med.heavy rod had a very good action. The body rolled side to side and swam well with a med.to slow presentation.Caught 7 bass from 11/2 to 5lbs. and missed a big fish just feet from the boat, all on one bait. That bait is finished now, but, for a soft plastic thats pretty durable.I say these baits are a good investment."

"For the price they are well worth trying. Swim over weedbeds or through submerged brush"

Needs improvement,April 9, 2009
By aquasetfrom Concord, CA
"I tend to agree with musicmanbassfishin. They look fine, but having just tried a new rigged one out in a pool before fishing, it doesn't swim, it twirls like a top. The problem seems to be the too lightly weighted packaged hook. I substituted a 4/0 Lucky Strike 1/4oz. belly hook. A big improvement!"

Not Worth It!,April 3, 2009
By musicmanbassfishinfrom Athens, Ohio
"Ok so i ordered these with a gift coupon from Xmas, and just finally got to test them out with the included hook! Never will i buy these or recommend them to a friend. They totally look fake, they do not swim in the water well... And its not becuase im rigging it wrong! i just rig it texas style and i get a horrible swiming motion!!! I before had bought the Luck E Strike Bass magic swimming baits and they are wonderful... just combine them with a verticle drop shot hook and you cathem all day!"

great value , great bait,March 4, 2009

"I have recently kind of gotton hooked on these new plastic swimbaits . I first used Yum money minnows and liked the action very much . I then tried the power bait minnow from Berkley and liked it because it was hollow and very easy to rig . Now I got the NEW Squirmin Shad by Bass Pro Shop and it's the best of all for several reasons . The craftsmanship is excellent comes in great colors , it's hollow , and best of all is it's $1.00 cheaper than Yum and Berkley . Yum comes with 2 minnows , Berkley comes with 3 and Bass Pro comes with 5 . This is another winner from Bass Pro Shop ."
