"First off, I'm a guy and in the summer I fish streams for trout and smallmouth. I don't wear waders. I wear swim trunks and was looking for a pair of grippy comfortable wading boots. I wear a shoe size 9 or 9 1/2 D. It's hard to find men's wading boots small enough to wear without waders. They are too wide even with heavy socks on.
At a Bass Pro store I tried on these Ladies wading boots in size 9 and WOW! Perfect fit! Light weight and very comfortable. I liked them so much I bought my wife a pair.
The streams I fish have slime covered rocks. Earlier this year I slipped and fell on a rock cracking a rib. A few weeks later my wife slipped and banged up her knee.
We both fish the same stream but now we wear these boots and have not slipped or come close to slipping. They are super grippy.
I have been wearing mine for 2 months and have fished over 30 times. The laces didn't break. The felt is still like new. These boots have held up great! If something did happen to them I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair."
