"I have owned the Vapor 10 for a few weeks now and it is a product worth every penny. Very stable to get in and out of. Always wear a floatation device. The seat adjusts to fit just about anyone, although for trips longer than a hour you will want to buy a pad for your fanny. The kayak tracks nice upstream. I use this primarily for exercise, so I paddle up stream until I am tired then float back to the truck. If you are new to Kayaking, watch the videos on you tube and the different paddling techniques. A few minutes in the water and you ae off and running. My only complaint would be the lack of accessories and PFD's designed for this sport at the retail store for this kayak, so if you want to upgrade the seat, add bungies or the rear well cover, you will have to get this online from the manufacturer. I will get many years of enjoyment from this product."

"I bought this Kayak in the 10' model last week and took it out for a spin yesterday and had a blast. It took a little getting used to being it was the first kayak I'd ever been in, but after about 5-10 minutes of paddling around a small lake near my house I was right at home. Easy to manuever, easy to paddle and fish from. Very stable platform.
I am looking to add some rod holders and a depthfinder to it. The only reason it gets a four and not a five is the fact that it lacks tiedowns for the oar. Other than that it is a fine watercraft"

1st fish in new kayak

"Ive looked at many different kayaks and found the Old Town Vapor 10 to best fit my needs. Its the perfect lenght to fit in my truck and easily store in my shed. Its large open cockpit is roomy enough to take my 4yr old daughter along with me. The large opening also makes it easy to get into and out of and makes it feel more like a sit-on-top model than a standard kayak. Well designed hull makes it track perfectly and is incredibly stable in all kinds of water. I use mine for fly fishing and love it. I can put some good strenght into long casts and never feel the kayak wobble hardly at all. I opted for the model without the hatch cover on the rear cause I feel the cover would just be in the way and limit the storage space. However some bungee holds on the back would make a great kayak even better."

"We bought this kayak for my 66 year old husband so that he could accompany my 8 year old grandson (in and Old Town Otter xt). It has turned out to be a great purchase as it is easy to get in and out of along with being very easy to maneuver on the water. They are looking forward to a summer of kayaking. "I recently bought two vapor kayaks a 10 ft and a 12 ft I was sorta worried as it says 375 pounds for max weight rating I always wanted one but never could find one for my size i weight up close to 335 pounds I am a big guy and was worried that a kayak would be really unstable for me but after Taking a chance with bass pro kayak experts in the new spanish fort store I bought them and went right out to try them out . we had so much fun we paddled like 1 mile the first day and around 3 miles the second day they are an awesome boat!!! I was very impressed with the stability of the boat it is 28 inches wide so it had plenty of width to make me stable in the water . I felt so comfortable in this kayak almost like my couch lol I want to thank the folks at bass pro for helping me with my new hobby!!!!!!!!!!!!"
