"When I first bought this line I was skeptical because of the price but boy I was wrong. From the moment I tied my first knot I knew it was good. I caught everything from panfish, 20+ inch trout, 4-5lb bass and even large carp and catfish with the 4lb test without a worry. Great line for the price."

"I've been using this line for several years now and I love it. It's strong, thin and and very sensative. When Bass Pro discontinued the large spools, I took my business and bought my line from someone else. I am glad to see it back!"

"THE BEST LINE YOU CAN BUY FOR THE MONEY!
I have been a longtime user of berkley big game mono. Using everything from 12lb-20lb and I honestly have no complants about the line. So I have to admit I was unsure about this line at first. I can honestly say with confidence that it out performs my big game. It is extremely abrasion resistant when I am using Carolina-Rigs and flipping jigs. I also use it for crankbaits and I've snagged some huge timber, so big that the snap ring I tie on so I can easily change crankbaits was straightened out pulling it up. I couldn't belive it...I've been sold ever since. Look it's not 100% fluro but who cares...that stuff is just a money racket anyways. To get the really good fluro you have to have a lot of extra money or...like wasting money. Anyway just give the line a try, if you don't like it your only out $6 bucks."

"Great all around line. By far best value.
Might not be best choice for spinning gear but adding KVD line conditioner will fix most problems. If line is wrapping around rod tip as earlier reviewer states, chances are it was spooled incorrectly leading to twist."

"i bought this line a while back when it was on sale for 4.99... i got the 8 pound, very wise investment as i was able to spool a lot of reels with just one spool... it has very little line memory so i can really cast a mile, abrasion is very good as well... i can handle big cats to good size largemouths without a problem... i would highly recommend!"

"I just went saltwater fishing and this line was horrible. It constantly twisted around the end of my fishing rod; it is hard, unmanageable, and shredded into strains after 4 hours of use. It did not out-perform 100% fluorocarbon or premium monofilament in any way."

"I was reluctant to try this line just based on the price, but it is the best line I have ever fished. It is extremely strong with great knots strength. Very low stretch great hook setting power. Use it with casting gear.Go with the Ultra soft for spinning gear. BOth are great values"

"The Yo-Zuri line is not the only line I use, but it is the most used brand I have. I mostly fish streams, rivers and lakes with sandstone or shale bottoms and abrasion resistance is very important as I use very low weight lines for most of my fishing. Sensitivity is great as it allows me to tell the difference between sharp hard tapping on a rock and the feel of a fish lipping the lure.
Also, this line seems to last longer than others I have used. Usually by mid-summer I was replacing my line as the sun had gotten to it or heat in the pickup, I don't seem to have that problem anymore. Like all lines, after landing a fish, feel the line, if you feel rough spots replace it by retying the lure to a new section of line, though I have always done that, I still loose fewer fish than I used to, and I think I catch more fishing being able to feel the action at the end of the line better. Wish I could say I didn't miss any strikes, but if you fish, you know what I mean, sometimes..."
