EOTech L-3 Holographic Gun Sight - Model M512
Combining the speed of a HALO gun sight with a wide field of view, adjustable reticle intensity, and rugged construction, the EOTech M512 has a lot to offer hunters who want to sight in on trophy game faster. The M512 is built to withstand the toughest hunting conditions with its waterproof design (submersible to 10') and hard coat non-reflective black finish. Thanks to its wide field of view and multiple intensity settings for the reticle, the M512 helps the hunter sight in faster, no matter the hunting conditions. The sight mounts to a standard Picatinny rail and is repeatable to 1 MOA after re-mounting. And don't worry about the M512 running out of batteries in the woods. The sight will run for 1,000 continuous hours on lithium batteries or 600 hours on standard AA batteries. Dimensions: 5"L x 1.8"W x 2.25"H. Weight: 11.5 oz. "It is no wonder that this sight is the choice of the U S military. There is no holographic sight available that is even close in comparison in terms of sight picture, quality and ease of use. I am 60 yoa and I wear glasses because my sight is not what it used to be. Before I mounted this sight on my Remington Tactical 870, I could not get a decent sight picture. Let me assure you that is no longer a problem irregardless of whether it is day or night. Best investment that I have made in a long time."

"I had reservations about spending over $400 on a non magnified sight, but the EOTech is worth every penney. My groups at 100 yards are impressive with my M&P15. The adjustable reticle intensity makes it easy to see the reticle on even in very bright sunlight."

"I have used Holographic sights for 10 years and this Eotech has a larger window and a protective hood that my last sight did not. Works like a charm and I highly recommend this sight for those who hunt in dense brush as you can use with both eyes open. This sight locks in quickly so fast moving game that provides a short window of opportunity are in danger if you use this sight."

"I purchased a Eotech weapon sight for my 6.8 spc rifle. It is made durable and is a perfect match for my flattop AR-15. BassPro was very helpful explaining the benefits of this site and how it worked. This may not be the cheapest site you can buy but it is worth every penny and it will not let you down when you need it most."

"Really nice sight. It's very adjustable, and can go from very dim, to super bright. Very rugged body, I've never had an issue with it not staying true. Battery life is great, I stick to the lithium's for storage reasons. It was pretty fast to get sighted in. Field of view seems much better from other HOLO's I have tried."

"I purchased this scope along with another brand scope to compare head to head to see which I liked more. The eotech blew away its competitor, which was also magnified. Sighting in was a piece of cake and accuracy is great out to 100 yards with no magnification. The scope goes from unbearably bright to super dim, so it will work for anybody and any lighting situation. I will be buying a magnifier to see how well that compliments."

"I started using this overseas for different reasons. I got one 2 years ago to throw on my AR for whatever reason. I LIKE IT, matter of fact, I liked it so much I got another one for my turkey gun. Worked great, but switched it over to my 20 guage deer slug gun. I was impressed. After trying mine, 2 of my other hunting partners have these on their ARs also. and 1 also has one on his turkey gun. As some have mentioned this does not have magnification, but they do make an adapter for it. The two together gets a little pricey. I have hit targets out to 350 yards without the magnification adapter. So I do not see the need. The ability to adjust the brightness levels is a plus for different shooting conditions and light. This is a pretty rugged piece of equipment that can be knocked around without fear of "off centering it". If you leave the sight on all day, it will eat thru some batteries. But since they are AAs then that really isn't a problem. I always throw some extras in my pac. The weaver style mounting attachment makes this easy on and off. Overall it isn't to hard to zero, and it is definitely worth the money. ( I know it seems a little pricey)."

"Put one on my SIG 556 and really like it. You can track/acquire running pigs much easier than with traditional optics or open sights. Works well in low light. Good battery life, and like that it uses AA batteries, which are cheap and found almost anywhere. Removed and remounted it -- the 'return to zero' claim is valid. Has no magnification, so practical use is limited to short/medium range. Has taken a few hard knocks without issue.
Good, well made piece of equipment."

"I love these optics, especially for close quarters range shooting. They are not as good for ranges beyond 200 meters due to the dot size blurring your target. They are tough and the batteries last a long time."

"I HAVE THIS SIGHT ON MY AR-15 RIFLE. IT WORKS GREAT FOR THOSE SITUATIONS WHEN YOU NEED BOTH EYES OPEN. YOU CAN EASILY GET YOU GUN UP AND ON TARGET QUICKER WITH THIS SIGHT.
