Mmmm...homemade ice cream,July 22, 2009

"I purchase this on sale, and am not upset I did. It makes good sherbet, sorbet, and ice cream. I've made 4 batches so far, and I am content with the machine.
Pro's- Large maker, 6 qts is a lot. Both electric, and hand crank. Nice wooden bucket, keeps the ice well.
Con's - I had to bend the lip of the can on the first try, because the lid would not turn the can. The cap for the lid is too big, so I wrapped some masking tape around the nob of the lid so the cap would stay on. The hand crank also does not fit it as well, so it slips. This could also be that I have only put the hand crank on after the electric motor has stopped."
