Constructed from rugged, high-impact ABS plastic, the Pond Prowler has internal ''cut-to-fit'' block foam for floatation and a wood-reinforced, ribbed floor for strength. The easy-to-maneuver Pond Prowler's ''deep rib'' hull ensures the boat remains balanced even in rougher water with two anglers standing and constantly shifting their weight. Incredibly easy to transport, the 10' Pond Prowler weighs only 130 lbs. and is 48'' wide which is the same width of a full-size truck's bed between the wheel-wells. "This is a great boat. Very stable. Handles two adults with no problems. There's barely enough room for my wife, 9 year old son and I to fish...it's a lttle tight. It loads easily. Light enough that I can lift one end and move it around. My 27# trolling motor works well, moves it along at 4 knots."

"We love this 10' boat. It's perfect for both of us and we just fished at Kerrick Lake in Florida. We caught over 30 large mouth basses from it!! It's perfect for these small electric only lakes in the panhandle. We use a 50lb trolling motor and it scoots us right across the lake."

"Bought the 10' Pond Prowler so my wife would fish with me & it was light enough for the two of us to handle. Outfitted it with a BassPro (MinKota) tolling motor - it was prewired bow andd stern, portable Fishin Buddy electronics, anchor system and a couple of rod holders. Works fantastic for small high mountain reservoirs - fits in the bed of a pickup for day trips and on top of a rack easily when we want to pull a camper and use the truck bed. Stable, flexible - gets us right where the fish are no matter how shallow and the trolling motor pushes it around all day on abouit 1/3 of a charge. The 360 swivel seats are comfortable for 8 hrs of fishing. Higher utility and lower costs than Jon & pontoon boats."

Disadvantages: Difficult to use
"We bought this thinking that we would be able to go fishing, either by ourself or together on small ponds/lakes. But to our dismay, it was too big, heavy for my husband and I to handle. We sold it at a loss in a month."

"This is one of the most versatile pond boats you'll ever find. I opted for the 10ft model because the extra floor space you have vs the 9ft or 8ft is very useful. We can easily fit two 200+lbs adults in it with our tackle bags, poles, battery, trolling motor, and even a small cooler and have enough room to maneuver around to fish in any direction. I can load/unload it in/out of the truck by myself. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a good pond jumper type boat. I can put this in any fishable body of water around.
The pontoon style bottom makes for a very stable boat as well. My partner can stand up and move around without even needing to warn me. I also highly recommend a drift sock on a breezy day. If not, you'll be fighting the trolling motor continuously. The drift sock is a must."
