It's a Snap,June 22, 2009

Advantages: Features, Value for money Disadvantages: plastic pole end hex screws can strip
"Easy to install, would have been easier if at least minimal instructions were included, but not hard to figure out. My reccomendation in installing the poles is to try different positions (length wise) even if you have to duct tape in place before boring holes in your boat. Poles can be cut afterwards. I was able to use one of the two existing strap deck hook holes for the new hinge. The new hinge covered up one hole and I drilled only one new hole per hinge. I may replace the end caps of the poles with stainless. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE HEX SCREWS. They will not mash the aluminum out of round but will strip out. With care and proper fit, this is a good aftermarket kit."

Great addition to your bimini top,February 20, 2009
By fishfanfrom IL
"I added these support legs to my bimini top frame after a few good rain storms.
At night, I would lay the bimini top down around the back of the boat. Then when I would go and open the top up the morning after a good rain, I would get quite a bit of water running out from inside the boot, and the bimini top would be soaked on the ends. The addition of these support legs allows the bimini top to be stored standing upright, and it keeps rainwater and critters out of the boot.
The only drawback, is that spiders love to build webs between the frame and support legs at night....but I guess that's better than having the bimini top get soaking wet every time it rains though."
