My 1st jig Bass!

"I had the pleasure of using this Strike King jig for the first time on a cold, cloudy, rainy, windy and November day in Maryland. I used the PB&J color with a Berkley Gulp crawfish (junebug color) as the trailer. After crawling, hopping & and pausing this little guy on 5 or 6 cast, a nice 1lb Largemouth got stung by the Gamakatsu hook! The strike felt like I bumped a rock, so I set the hook like all the magazine article said to do. This catch was extra special because this was my first time using a jig AND this was my first jig Bass! I will be sure to continue using this jig with a S-L-O-W retreive throughout my fall/winter fishing. THANKS STRIKE KING!"

"This Strike King product is a great jig. The skirt is well manufactured and very smooth. It dragged over rocks fairly well but ending up getting hung up multiple times for me. My best set-up was fishing it with a 7:1 Shimano Calais Dc reel, GLX rod , 14lb Seaguar Invizx Florocarbon, and a Black and Blue Flake Rage Tail Chunk. My best spot was in 30 feet of water on a rocky point. I caught three over 4lbs. Great Bait overall!"

nice four pounder in the spring

"This is a great all year round jig. At first i had a little bit of trouble with the hookset, but i was probably being a little too agressive. Anyway I went to a local relatively unfished lake and within five minutes pulled out four fish, three of which were three pounders and one four pounder. The blue/black is my favorite color, and i love using the zoom tin brush hog as a trailer, even though it is not actually meant to be a trailer. Also, it doesn't fall apart. The number of fish ive caught on this is probably in the upper twenties, and its holding out wonderfully. Works all year round, and will catch fish when everything else wont."

"This lure is great! You will very rarely get hung which is good for me because I fish very aggresively. I have caught bass and even a JACK on this jig. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that the bristles interfere with the hookset. Other than that this jig is amazing"

"i had bought a couple of these jigs last year around christmas then last spring i went fishing at my local lake with this jig and i caught alot of nice 3 pound bass.i was fishing the black and blue jig with a blue chigger craw and i was crawling the jig over rocks."

"This was my first time ever trying a jig out and i was very happy with it. I caught a few fish once i figured it out and was satisfied. They definently werent my biggest fish but whatever. I used the number 08 color and had a gary yammamoto grub as a trailer."
