"I was duck hunting in California in Jan. 2010. Heavy rain. The blind was 1.2 miles away. After the first 15 min. of walking, I was soaked through three layers. It was almost like I was wearing a sweatshirt. Don't waist your money."

Top secret material from the roswell crash!!,

"I have had some of the best gear on the planet earth and have camped and hiked in the rugged Colorado mountains for years. This material is simply THE BEST I have ever run across bar-none!!
it breathes like your wearing regular fleece but is waterproof and wind resistant. just recently i went on 3 hikes here in Colorado when the temps were well below zero ( - 22 with wind chill) it was snowing also i stayed incredibly warm and totally dry. No sweating or muggy feeling you will get with other "breathable" garments. and totally silent....seriously...When the c.i.a learns this material was stolen from area 51...they will remove this from the market!!
(one note on size...the large jacket fit me nicley but the large pants were to big...so I went with medium!!!

"Im from northern ireland, and i purschased this jacket when i was in flroida basspro shop. All it does in this country is rain with strong winds, but this jacket stood up to the challenge well impressed. recommened it to anybody."

Great Jacket for the price,

"I purchased this jacket bacause I had a need for something that blocked the wind and rain better then my current hunting gear. After using it for the better part of the season I have to say that I am impressed. It definetly blocks the wind and I never had an issue with rain or it soaking through. The material can be a bit noisy which I don't like but I have found that to be the norm in most rain/water proof clothes. And this jacket was no louder then any of those others. I have been looking at several photo's taken in the woods wearing this item and the camo pattern is great. I don't care for the black sections under the arm though. I don't understand the purpose and they on a jacket designed to hide outlines and the black ruins that.
Overall a decent jacket for the price that I would recommend but a few improvements would make it a great jacket!"

"Overall, great jacket. Here's the deal:
Windproof – Yes
Waterproof – Yes
Warm – When layered

Spent the afternoon scouting in moderate to heavy rain, 38 degrees and windy. This jacket did exactly what I needed it to, kept me warm and dry. After 3+ hours of trekking through the woods and HEAVY NC briars I was completely dry and the jacket did not snag at all. I had initial concerns about the material holding up to this natural barbed-wire but not even a pick.
The jacket fits well and allows great range of motion. I put a dozen arrows in a target to check the jacket out and it never felt restrictive in the least. Even with the hood up there was no binding and shots felt as though there was no jacket at all (except for staying dry in the heavy rain). I'm not much of one for hoods, but the cut of this one was comfortable enough to keep up and did not overly reduce peripheral vision or make me feel like a woodlands gangsta. The “hugging” fit allowed me to carry my favorite scout backpack in total comfort with none of the usual bunching of material found with roomier cuts.
The downside to this jacket? The sleeves are just a bit too short for me, but then I have that problem with almost every jacket I own. It would be nice to have a removable hood, but that's a minor issue at best. The material is not silent, but the fleece under-arm panels do a good job when drawing back a bow. As to warmth, I swear by layering having grown up in WI. Just wear your favorite base layer depending on temp/activity and you can't go wrong.

Why 4 stars and not 5? I swear by North Face outerwear because when you're hiking in the middle of nowhere that even god has forgotten about, you simply can't compromise on your gear. That being said, I would recommend these pants and jacket for anyplace else. Besides, they come in Realtree AP and don't break the bank."
