"I purchased the C5 Wildcat crossbow package for this archery season. Sighting it in was easy with the red dot scope that came with the package. At 35 yards, I was able to consistantly hit a 2" bullseye. I took a deer with it already this season. The shot was at 20 yards. The bolt passed through cleanly (I use Muzzy 125 4 blade broadheads) and buried up to the fletching in the creek bottom soil I was hunting. The deer ran less than 15 yards. Great package and great performance for the price. Not a problem to cock the 150# draw with fingers. It is even easy to cock while in your tree stand."

"I have never shot a corssbow in my life, but wanted to participate in a management hunt on Assateague Island National Seashore. I bought the bow 2 days before the hunt. It took 2 shots at 20 yards to sight in, then I took a few practice shots at 30 and 40 yards. All were on target. I got my first deer with a crossbow on the second day of the hunt. A 28 yard shot, and the deer only ran about 50 yards."

"The 3rd shot out of the box was in the bulls eye. Very accurate - offhand I can consistently hit a 3" bulls-eye at 20 yards. "Purchased last summer for around 300 on sale and it has been worth every penny. Got involved in a managment hunt and out of the 16 taken by 5 hunters including myself, the wildcat took 12. All kinds of circumstances wet, cold, moving, still, day, night; it worked great in all conditions. Just don't forget to turn off red dot scope. I plan on upgrading to the Predator this fall if the wife lets me, if not I'm very confident in the Wildcat."

Purchased the Wildcat C5 along with a target block, took about 20 shots to get the red dot scope zeroed in at 38 yards, after that it was dead on with G5 Montec Pre-Season Broadheads(100g) up to about 62 yards. The price on this crossbow for the quality is great."

"I purchased the crossbow and knew nothing about it. John the salesperson that I was working with Council Bluffs, IA was a big help. I got to go into the range and shoot a lot of arrows, I asked him to hold it for me. I told him I would be back later. He had also had it sighted in.
The only problem was the it was crossthreaded on the scope. I will say Barnett made it right with me, they replaced it with no problem. I was glad of that, but the store had it together when I purchased it.
It is a nice bow and my friends all like it. You need a permit to use in Iowa and I happen to have one. I like it and it is sweet too."

"I bought this crossbow at bass pro shops in hampton va. they put it together for me and took me in the range and we sighted it in. i used this crossbow opening day and took a spike buck from 30 yards away. the arrow went clean through. deer ran 20 yards and dropped.i was hunting in bluemont va. hopefully west va will soon let you hunt with crossbows.. But its a great crossbow and is very light.Anyone looking for a great crossbow you can stop looking because you have found it."
