Advantages: Ease of use, Performs well, Quality, Value for money
"Just purchased this as my first crossbow. The bow is outstanding. I have increased my confident kill range to 40 yards. Previously, with my compound bow, it was 30 yards. The only problem I had was that the scope glass cracked after about 20 shots. BassPro is getting me a new scope from Parker. I think the vibration cracked the glass. They tell me this is not usual for these scopes. I will definitely buy another Parker bow when the need arises. My last Hunter mag is still an outstanding compound that I bought in 2000. I have killed deer with it every year since until this year. I just can't draw and hold like I need to to humanely kill deer. (Getting old)."

Disadvantages: scope did not perform well.
"I must say I really do enjoy this crossbow. It handles well and has a lot of power. The only problem I have had with this bow is the Red Dot scope combo that came on it. The scope will not hold the sighting. I have missed 3 deer during the first park of the season due to the scope dropping 8 inches or more in sight in. Each time I have missed I have taken it home and re-sighted the scope to find it off a lot in height. Left to right is great. BPS is very good on this though. I called them last night and they were very quick to say bring it in and we will fix or replace the scope for you. 10 thumbs up for the service that the BPS shop in Ashland, Va is providing. Crossbow it self is great and I would most certainly buy another!"

"This bow is an awsome purchase. After purchasing the bow, Bass Pro helped me sight in the bow on the spot. Within 6 shots I was driving bolts in the bull at 20 yards. Very smooth and relatively quiet. Would recommend this bow to anyone! Thanks Bass Pro for helping me choose the right bow for my needs."

"I purchased this crossbow at BPS before archery season. Within minutes of entering the stores indoor range, I had the bow grouping the bolts nicely. It's relatively quiet compared to other crossbows that I've been around and seems to be well made. The only complaint I have is that I did not get to take a deer with it during the first part of archery season. Oh well, maybe I will get to at the end of the year."

"This cross bow is simply impressive. It's Quiet, accurate,backed by a lifetime guarantee.Within 2 hours I had mine shooting groups that made me pull the bolts after each shot for fear of busting one with another shot. The guys at Opry mills were a great help in picking out this weapon. They took the time to let me hear and see the effectiveness of a couple of brands of crossbows in their shooting range. The Parker was much quieter than the Excalibur. They both shot good groups tho. The scope is right on and the recticles work great at 10 yards intervals. I can't wait to take it to the woods."
