Disadvantages: pin size on sights
"This is my first bow and I'm loving it. Everyone I've been around while shooting it says it's the quietest bow they've ever been around. It works great for a beginner and the sights and rest included are great. The only thing I would change is the pin size on the sight. The pins need to be a little smaller, but other than that it's worked wonderfully for me."

"This bow is great. I had an older bow and was a bad shot. I got this one and my shot was immediately better. I love the look of it too. The quiver is cheap but I used it all season and it held up. I replaced the arrow rest because the one that was on it was messing up my arrow fletching. The sight works just fine and has taken many bumps and jolts. I got my first bow kill on a whitetail with this bow the first season I used it. It is accurate to at least 40 yards and after that it is probably not the bow causing the inaccuracy. It is plenty fast to me and seems pretty quiet. All around a great bow. Thanks Bass Pro Shop!"

"this is the best bow for your money. i got this bow about 6 months ago and i have never had one bit of problem with it. i have done small changes to it but it comes ready to shoot. i shoot Redhead carbon furry arrows with 2' blazers and i have never had a problem with them hitting or kicking. this is a very smooth shooting bow"

"my wife and i origanally went to bps to purchase us both toxik bows. but she was unable to draw the toxik back so we looked at and talked about the kronik. bps did the basic set up on the bow and off we went.
after getting things sited in all i can say is WOW! this bow is outstanding. shot groups are dead-on. it's draw cycle is very smooth. no vibration at all. the bow was never shot before the installation of a limbsaver string stop but i can tell you that the kronik is extremely quiet. more so than my toxik. and the best part about it is that it's lite enough that my wife begs to shoot it everyday before the kids get home from school!!"

"This is my first bow and so far its and awesome bow. Basspro staff really helped me out. They got me setup and everything. One thing I didn't like is the arrow rest. Wasn't shooting tight enough groups. I went with a whisker bisket instead. All good now."

"I bought this bow about 2 months ago. This bow is my first bow ever. I would have to say this is the best choice Ive made as a first bow. Bass Pro Shop fitted me for the correct draw-back length and wieght and I love it!! This bow is smooth and light weight. I keep my strings waxed along with storing it indoors away from the harsh elements of weather. Ive already killed a doe with it and it smoked her!!Complete pass-thru. Since then I have great confidence in this bow every time I used it.For the money this bow package is a "MUST HAVE" item on any bow hunters wish list!!With a 100grain G5 or Rage broadhead this bow performs just a great as any other high price valued bows!!Make sure you keep all screws tight on the bow, keep the strings waxed, and practice often and this bow will pay for itself in the long run!!IF I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN MY BOW OR MY GIRLFRIEND.....I WOULD CHOOSE MY BOW!!!LOL"

"This was my FIRST time to hunt, especially bow hunt. I bought this bow about a month ago and practiced on targets here and there until the big hog hunt this last weekend. This bow was so easy to learn and sight in. The bow is set at 70 lbs. Within 30 mins. I had my first kill. Two more to follow through out the day. Dragged this bow through everything and it showed great durablilty and deadly accurate, obviously. This Kronik is awesome..and made my first hunting experience unbelievable!!!!!!!"

"I've been an avid bow hunter for about 15 years but never been able to afford a top of the line bow .For the money this bow is the best bow I've shot.I have shot brand new bows and I still wouldn't trade my kronik for any of them.The draw is the smoothest i've pulled.there is the none of the sudden let off. the only thing I was unhappy with is the spring loaded quiver."

"For the money i have in the bow and the service i recieved at the Bass pro shop is perfect. This bow is very quiet and very smooth compared to others that are a hundred or more dollars. The quiver on this bow get an "F", but it can be replaced with the money you save on the setup. I would deffinitly recommend this package for a first time buyer."

"well i bought this bow a month before archery season and i got setup at bps the next day i was shooting 20 30 and 40 yards 5 arrows inside of 6 inches right next to my buddies with their hoyts and mine was hanging right with them and quieter also has plenty of down range energy i have gotten complete pass throughs on boar hogs at 45 yards great bow"

"This is an excellent bow for beginners! I got a better sight, because I couldn't find the right sized pins. I have never hunted before but I was shooting pretty good with this during just a couple of practice sessions. I found I should keep everything as tight as possible because I kept hearing alot of vibration. But the bow itself and package is a very good deal for the money. Try it out if you can you might just like it. The rest is very good. Because the fletching never hits the rest. I even got alot of compliments about my bow, when I went to my first 3-D shoot."

"I got tons of BPS gift cards for christmas, bc I was in the market for a new bow. I went to the Hanover, MD store and the associate was very helpful and reccomended the Redhead Kronik. It was right in my price range and I am very pleased with the product. After about 6 arrows I was sighted in at 20 yards with a very good group. I still need to sight in my other 2 pins. It is extremly quiet and I can't wait to take it in the woods. I would definatly reccomend this bow for the first time bowhunter, as well as the experienced bowhunter. The only problem is the quiver, but thats no reason to drop a star. Thanks BPS and Diamond/Bowtech. Keep up the good work!!!"

"Bought this a bow a few weeks ago from BPS in Denver. Have shot it enough to sight in my 20/30/40 yard pins and it shots very nice groups. Can't really give an opinion on the hostage rest as I knew before I bought a new bow, that if it didn't have a Whisker Biscuit I would put my old one back on. The hostage is on my old bow waiting for my son to grow into. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is the quiver. If you don't turn the knob just right, it can easily fall off the bow. Will probably look at replacing it before hunting season. However, for the money this bow shoots great."

Flawed design! Cock-up!!,

"This bow seemed to be great value at first!
But that great value soon disappears when you realize that the fitted Hostage arrow rest is useless and has to be changed! The arrow holder (quiver) is badly designed and come off on its own accord!!
The main design error here is that bow can not work properly if you shoot your arrows with cock feather up (cock-up) as the fletching strikes the power cable / idler string. This problem might be sorted with a drop away rest and arrows with cock feathers to the outside face of the bow! So i have wasted even more Euro's$$ b/c before i knew of this issue i bought a better rest to replace the cruddy hostage, i bought a Quick tune 360 (nice rest) but it require that cock feathers are on top!!!!"

Very Nice Bow For The Money,

I ordered it online and took it to my local Bass Pro to get setup and the pros there did a fantastic job getting me fitted properly and explaining the bow.
