"I'm not usually a fan of LC , but I really like this bait. It has a wide wobble and if you keep your rod tip up, it will stay just under the surface. Lower the rod and it will dive 3-4" down. If you want a good, consistent jerkbait buy an X-Rap. If you want a good wake bait, save your nickels and spring for this one. You'll be glad you did."

"I am a lucky craft fan for sure, and this is just another weapon for the arsenal! Long casts, gets in the area you need it quickly. Rick Clunn will always have an awesome product, and this is a Bass Pro Shops exclusive, so that has to tell you, $ money winner $ I use this for many types of situations, at various times in the day or evening, and all seasons. Angle of rod tip will vary your retrieve easily, another winner for Rick Clunn, and the people of Lucky Craft, and Bass Pro Shops for offering this great new product. It will produce fish, for those who need help in color selection, ''Ghost'' is the way to go, and size, well that depends on weather condition, and season of course , but the 2'' is my favorite for most situations. "i broke this baby out today, seeing it was one of the first days around new england that the fish were visibly breaking the surface while feeding. i threw this bait in five ft or less along the edges of lily pads. i caught four bass on it, but it was unbelievable how much they exploded on this bait. i had another one that i missed, he knocked the bait two and a half ft out of the water."

"yes these are full of action, i suggest tying directly to the lure rather than using a fast lock snap or it seems to get a little too squirrely. color patterns and finish are very well done, of course, as they all are from lucky craft. very nice and very productive in the right conditions."

"I used the sexy shad wake bait today for bedding bass and was able to catch a few Largemouth. The Pike hit this lure like it was raw meat! Very exciting action in the grass on the shoreline edge. Great bait for the spring, although the Pike chewed up the feather trebile pretty good."

"I haven't had the opportunity to try this little bugger out too much yet with the onset of the cold weather here in Pennsylvania. It's a great looking lure with great action. Its perfect for bass holding in shallow water when the weeds are sparse enough to allow treble hooks. I love fishing wake baits, so this one will be tied on a lot next season."

"I recently purchased a wake bait from another lure maker and using it just one time was very happy , 3 nice bass and they really blow up on it . I was in Bass Pro Shop when I saw the Rick Clunn Wake Bait . I was happy before but this looked good to me . Turned out it looked good to the bass too . I like the jointed body and the dressed tail hook ( I'm a fly tyer so I re-dressed the hook , adding a little krystal flash and pearl flashabou ) I caught 4 nice fish and I think it will even get better in the spring when the water gets a little warmer . I may have just retired my buzz baits ."

"bought a 1.5 series copper perch wake action and absolutely love it. works great when you have matted vegetation 6-12 inches below the surface. whenever bass are nailing spinnerbaits close to the surface or topwaters they will more than likely be all over this. great one two punch with a slowly worked popper."

"I fish these baits around docks in the sun once it gets to be about the middle of the day. The fish come out and hit it right around the edges. Burning it over shallow cover like stumps and rock piles works great too. I've tried the white shad and the ghost minnow so far, and am about to try to the copper green shad since the original RC crankbait in the 1.5 series does good for me in that color most of the time. Try this bait, you'll have a blast."

"fished this lure at at pond today 3rd cast caught a keeper. the next cast another only a bit bigger. the following cast a 3rd bass and biggest of the day. not long later caught another keeper. best shallow water bait I've ever used."

"ive tried these cranks just in the past few weeks for prespawners. AND ITS A MAGNENT. last weekend i was sight fishing, so id thought id flip mr. wake to some bedding bass just to agitate them into my t-rig presentation. well, i only had to t-rig once. the other times they just blew up the wake. after a 5 fish 27 lb bag later i think im convinced. and the bait works well off of structure. keep the nose down and keep cranking. bait kinda reminds me of between a shallow crank, zara spook, and the RICO."
