"the scum frog is a great bait i like the way it floats but has the same action as a buzz bait the legs on this frog have more action and splash than that of a spro bronzeye or zoom hornytoad, today was my first day using th scum frog i had several blow up and several catches this is a great and simple design"

"I bought this bait a little over a year ago and i have had not one fish on it. I have had maybe 10 good fish hit and miss the bait, the hooking percentage on this bait is garbadge. Good action, bad design."

"I posted a while ago about the Bigfoot. This is a slight bit smaller but works just as well. Well, actually maybe better. You have more strikes (encompasses a few more fish for the smaller size). It is vitually weedless which allows you to fish just about anywhere (think of the worst stuff to fish & fish it!) Over stumps, through weeds, onto lily pads. Doesn't matter! I have had only a few hangups. The only thing you need to do is learn the timing to set the hook. It's about one second after the strike. If you watch the Bass Pro show & Tim Horton having issues with the hook setting, you'll know what I mean. It's pure excitement when you see that strike! Don't be afraid & get this as well as the other Scum Frog products. Worth the $$$"

"I caught fish with this lure in places where the bass just would not bite anything else. I used light tackle so I could cast it far, and my third cast pulled in a nice three pound largemouth. I also took it to the streams and the smallmouth just went nuts for it.VICIOUS strikes. I caught about 17 fish before losing it to a monster bass. My fault, always examine your line regularly for damage so you don't end up like me."

"well i must say that this little big foot frog really works ,great for large mouth bass,stike after strike,BUT...it's very hard to set the hook...and if a northern pike decides to take a bite it's all over for the frog ...he will have no more legs left ...it's happened to me ...so buy two at a time ...go with the watermelon,and the green color you can't go worng..i would have gave it a 5 out of 5 but like i said it's hard to set the hook ,wait 2 or 3 seconds then try and set it ....."

"In my opinion, all the ScumFrogs are the best. They are all very reasonably priced, and they compare and are mostly better than the top frogs like the SPRO Bronzeye. The thing I like most about these frogs is how soft, durable, and buoyant they are. These days its hard to find soft plastic lures that are soft and have great action, and are durable. I'm not sure how, but the Scum Frogs have all of the above! Another thing I really like is when I'm doing a side arm cast with one of these things and trying to get it under a low tree, I don't even have to try to skip it, it will bounce once or twice, giving me that extra distance under low hanging cover that I need! The Little Bigfoot has all the same qualites of the other ScumFrogs, and then some. its legs are made of the same, durable soft plastic as the body, and when worked with a steady retrieve, they act like a buzzbait, kicking and churning up water to alert even the laziest fish! these are great!"

Does Not Casts Well,March 17, 2008

"Good action w/ the paddle feet, but the body is light that it does not cast that well, especially on baitcast.
The body is very soft so it compresses easy when you set the hook. I've added a worm rattle to give it more noise.
You can steady retriev or twich the Bigfoot. Hooks are so-so, you have to sharpen.
A bit pricey for a so-so frog lure."

"Great action but inconsistent quality. I have 1 I have caught about 30 fish on and have had several that tear after 1 or 2 bites. Phenomenal bait for buzzin' medium to heavy cover."
